Gracie-Robinson House (Chinese Scenic)

Details

One of the many reasons that Heidi is so special, as a paperhanger, is that she cares so much about all the little details. Here are several examples of how those details look up close. In the end something so small can really add polish to the space.

Porter Teleo- Walk the Line

Porter Teleo- Walk the Line

During this installation several of the paint drips were getting cut off by door jams. So Heidi came up with a solution to save the drips, double cut them back in! Here you can see the before and after, with this detailed addition you can see how this pattern fits the space even better than before. Additionally you can see another example of our detailed switch plate work.

Scallop

Scallop

With instruction from the designer, Kathleen Navarra, Heidi cut off the body of this paper at the scalloped edge and hung it horizontally. Proving that a great partnership with the designer can make wallpaper magic!

Scallop-After Installation

Scallop-After Installation

The finished product of the railroaded install of this scalloped design. After Heidi installed the painter came in and artfully cut in the wall paint.

Corner wrap detail. Here Heidi deconstructed and wrapped the pattern onto the adjacent painted (grey) wall, so that we paper had a more natural flow rather than cutting the pattern off.

Owls

Owls

In this children's room install Heidi took the tiny wings of the owls and wrapped them onto the painted wall. This small detail makes a big difference in the flow of the space.

Monkey after double cut- In the before you can see the natural end of the mural, which is very abrupt. In order to accommodate the rest of the monkey Heidi double cut in the remainder of the arm to create a more pleasing end.

Timourous Beasties- Butterflies

Timourous Beasties- Butterflies

Appliquéd butterflies on the ceiling to bring the pattern up to the fifth wall.
